No Signal · No phone reception. Better connection.
The bars drop to nothing and, after a moment of panic, something lifts. Nobody needs you right now except the people around the fire, and that suits everyone. Wear No Signal on the stretch of road where the map stops being useful and the trip properly starts.
Out where the bars drop to zero, life gets loud in the best way. Phones down, dust up.
Our Maasai mate is leaning on MAISHA, our white 79 Series LandCruiser dual-cab. He's got dreads under a red, gold and green tam, a red checked shuka and a beaded collar on, plus an easy grin. A little smoke is curling up, the sun is going down in stripes and there's red dirt as far as you can see. Nowhere to be. No signal. Better connection.
Retro sunset print on the back, OUTBACK MAASAI small on the chest. A grown-up tee for slow afternoons at camp.
